The short version: Farfables never asks who you are. Your taste profile lives under a random, anonymous ID — no name, no email, no phone number — and one tap on the About page erases everything, permanently.
We may run Google Analytics to see which pages people actually find useful. We run it in a deliberately reduced mode:
You can block it with any tracker blocker, or with your browser's “Do Not Track” setting — nothing on this site depends on it.
When a property owner submits their email on the aesthetic-score page, we store that email, the property URL and the score snapshot they saw — used only to follow up about their listing, never added to any marketing list.
These limits are enforced automatically, so they hold whether or not anyone remembers to look.
Exercise and recipe demos load through YouTube's privacy-enhanced (no-cookie) player, and only when you press play. Following an outbound link to a stay or a booking site takes you to that site, where its own privacy policy applies — including any affiliate tracking the booking partner performs.
Your data lives in our own database, on infrastructure under our control. We rely on a small number of established suppliers for hosting and managed database capacity; they store and process data only on our instructions, under contract, and never for their own purposes. Beyond them we share your data with nobody — no data brokers, no advertisers, no marketing partners. If you need our current supplier list for a compliance or due-diligence review, email us and we'll send it.
Open About and tap "Delete my data & start over". Your profile, swipes, taste vector and recommendations are deleted immediately and permanently — no grace period, no soft delete. Because profiles are anonymous, this button is the deletion mechanism; there is no account recovery.
Where the GDPR or a similar law applies, our basis is our legitimate interest in running and improving a service you asked to use — showing you stays that match your taste, keeping the site up, and seeing which features earn their keep. That basis is only available to us because the data is anonymous and the intrusion is small; you can object at any time by deleting your profile. Zen's optional body details are different: health data needs your explicit consent, which is why they are skippable, and why entering them is a deliberate act and never a default.
Depending on where you live (including the EU's GDPR and the personal-data protection laws of Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of personal data. Most of these you can exercise yourself with the delete button above; for anything else, email [email protected] and we'll respond promptly.
If you think we've handled your data badly, you can complain to your local data-protection authority — in the EU, the supervisory authority where you live or work. We would rather you told us first, but that right doesn't depend on our agreement.
If this policy changes, the new version appears here with an updated date. We will never quietly weaken it — a meaningful change gets a plain note at the top of this page.
